Movement & Technique 1

Climbing is more than just brute strength.  Moving on the wall requires finesse that takes time to learn.  Learning techniques for how to move on the wall will vastly improve your climbing performance.  The techniques may feel awkward at first, but quickly become second nature.  Because there is so much to learn, our Movement & Technique program is split up into three different classes.

Movement & Technique 1 will cover topics such as…

-Points of contact.

-Static vs. dynamic movement.

-Power source.

-Center of gravity.

-Balance.

-Basic hand & foot work.

-Rest stances.

Prerequisites for this class: None.
